Thailand is one of the destinations, which is the dreamland of many people. All the things that are the dream of a traveler can be found here. Cultural places, religious temples and the places situated in the lap of nature are the best examples in this regard.

When we talk about Thailand, the names of various destinations come in our minds. At first, we think about Bangkok, which is the capital of Thailand. Bangkok is full of tourist attractions. Here you get palaces, temples, part and a lot of other enticements. If you are coming to Bangkok for the short time span then you can meet some Bangkok tour operator from some offline or online Bangkok tour operator. Grand Palace, Lumphini Park and Golden Buddha are some of the perfect examples in this regard.

Next name that comes in our minds is of Phuket province. Phuket has gained a huge fame for scuba diving. Scuba diving is one of the most desired recreational activities in the current scenario. Here, you find the expert diving instructors of PADI, who can teach you diving. On the other hand, it is the place located in the bounty of nature. Phuket is best known as Pearl of Andaman.

One more place, which is similar to Phuket, is Phang Nga province. This is also a place full of beauty. Similan Islands, the popular destination for scuba diving and liveaboard diving, is also located in Phang Nga. It is 84 km northwest from Phuket, and therefore the trip to Similan Islands is also provided under the Phuket travel packages. Besides, Similan Islands has been a perfect destination for the scuba diving, which is also one of the reasons behind its association with Phuket.

Several more places are there in Thailand to see. To get the complete list and to arrange the trip to this beautiful nation, you need to contact some Thailand travel agent. What You Need to Know For Your Trip To Bangkok

Planning to set your foot for the first time in Bangkok? Well, then you are in for a treat with a few surprises to get along. Bangkok is almost everything that you expect from any big cosmopolitan city across the world. It’s vibrant, colorful, noisy, crowded, and culturally rich. Also, as you may know it's quite famous for its quirky nightlife, stunning beaches, awesome shopping and lip smacking food. So yes, there is quite a lot to forward to if you wish to enjoy a spicy vacation.

However,  when you go sightseeing in Bangkok, like any other place, you need to be aware and well prepared for all kind of surprises that may come your way if you wish to make the most out of your vacation.

So, let's take a tour of the city highlights and know a little about the city before you land here.

#It's Hot Out Here

The climate of Bangkok is tropical monsoon in nature which means it's pretty hot and humid out here almost all year round except from the months of November to February during which the temperature cools down. Any time else, you’re bound to sweat. So, better get over it and carry a sunscreen.

#Take a guided tour to the city

To spare yourself the trouble of negotiating for everything, taking a guided tour would be wise especially for the places that are difficult to reach. You can either take a taxi when you choose to travel solo and for a well rounded sightseeing of the city a tour would be the best option.

Book yourself with a good Thailand travel agency if you wish the sightseeing tour in Bangkok to find a hassle free experience. We came across this Pleasure Holiday Tour  that can offer you some of the best sightseeing trips around the city with good deals and packages.

#Lip Smacking Street Food

The Street food out here is the best and yet cheap. Every night, food vendors have these pop up restaurants that offer great authentic food. It's spicy and flavorsome. Steer clear away from some dishes that might not suit your palate. Must try dishes are Phat Thai, i.e., thin rice noodles stir fried with tofu, egg and shrimp. Tom Yam, also known as Sour thai soup is to die for. Don’t drink tap water.

#Terrible Traffic

Thailand has a scary traffic record with 80 lives being lost every day that accounts for 2nd highest fatalities in the world.. Be careful when out on the streets. You might catch sights of monks on scooters with phones, but that's pretty normal.

#Shopper’s Paradise

Thailand is the right place for shopaholics. There are countless malls here where you can shop your heart out  and taste some great food when you’re tired and hungry at the food courts. For street shopping at its best, head out to Ladies market, Kowloon, best for the fashion conscious for cosmetics, clothing, bargain priced sports shoes. Stanley market caters to Chinese artwork, silk and collectibles if you wish to get souvenirs for your friends.

#Beware Of Scammers

Scammers are all round Bangkok. Don't go for phrases in the market such as “huge sale ending today”. Tuk tuk drivers are mostly into it with a developing network everywhere. They will say the temple is closed today for few hours and will suggest you to take elsewhere where they get their commission. So, take another tuk tuk or a taxi instead.

#Show respect For Their Culture

Do show respect for their royal family and Buddhism. The country has severe laws when it comes to disrespecting their religion. Avoid touching someone with your feet or patting someone on their head as these actions are considered rude. Thai people consider feet to be dirty and low and head to be the clean and pure.

Thai folks are usually friendly to talk to and learning a few phrases to greet them or bid them farewell would do you good. Staying calm and speaking softly will give you greater results than being rude and confrontational.

Have a good trip!
